Stop thinking and start doing, pt. 1

I'm really trying to stop spending so much time thinking about things that I want to do and instead just doing them. There are just so many layouts that I want to complete and challenges I want to participate in that sometimes I just sit there thinking about everything and trying to plan what I want to do. But when it comes down to it, sometimes I just have to sit at my crafting desk and just get things done. I'm supposed to learn from the process, anyway, so it's okay if something sucks! Really trying to tell myself this - it's just paper!

Yesterday, I completed TWO layouts! This is quite an accomplishment since I remember when I would only complete two layouts for a whole month. Here is the first one:

I used some of my new Chic Tags, which are awesome, and some old papers and supplies from my stash - trying to use up some of the old, so that I won't feel so bad about buying new stuff! ;)

I'm really loving challenges these days to give me a little prompt for my layouts (There's nothing to get you motivated like a chance to win some gorgeous papers!).  I'm entering this layout into the ILS March sketch challenge. It was really easy to work with, since it was simple enough to let me have freedom with it, but still a good starting point for me to work off of!

My second layout from yesterday will be in a second post since I will be entering that into another challenge.
