I'm not much of a cardmaker - except with paper quilling. I don't know why, but scrapbooking skills just don't transfer over for me. But I saw something on Shimelle Lain's blog where a guest talked about different ideas for making alphas. One of them was using shrink plastic, and I was immediately intrigued because I have a stack of extra sheets! So I went about making some - I ended up only making a few, because it is quite time consuming. I then covered the letters with gold washi tape, because one of the challenges at Two Peas is to use gold. I made just the letters for the sentiment for this card:

Ehh, not the most interesting but oh well. It was fun to try something new for a bit!
I'll be linking this to the Simon Says Stamp Challenge for this week.

  1. Michelle...your card is very cute. I am like you in that I'm not all that inspired to create cards...but when I do, I like the result. Your card is fun and I like the shrink plastic letters with the gold washi tape on them. Cute design. Thanks for sharing your card with us at Simon Says Stamp and Show. <3 Candy
