Happy Monday! It’s pretty wet and slushy where I am today –
hopefully it’s nicer where you are!
Today I'll be sharing a quick 8.5x11 layout I made about my apple
picking trip a couple of months ago. At the orchards, there was a hedge maze
that my friends and I had a lot of fun in. The events of the day may have included purposely getting ourselves lost and leaving people behind.... and of course, many selfies with 3+ people were taken. Because I like myself a challenge and what's a better time to take a selfie than in a winding maze?
This was a really simple layout to make, mostly using the
Carta Bella Hello Again collection and My Mind’s Eye Cut & Paste.
If you ever want to get some layouts done quickly, you
should definitely try scrapping 8.5x11! I love it for pictures that might be
too small for a 12x12 or when I don’t think the event warrants a whole 12x12
page – not to say that this wasn’t a fun event, but since I’ve scrapped other
pictures from that day, I’m okay doing a smaller supplementary layout. Hope
that makes sense!
I love the floral stickers in the Hello Again collection…
and also that washi that I got in a Freckled Fawn grab bag from their Black Friday sale.
The saying on this sticker is just PERFECT for my story, don’t
you think??? And of course, I had to add a resin flower because I’ve been
putting those on EVERY layout I make recently.
I’ve been using these thickers a lot, too, because they make
such a big impact! As a side note, it is weirdly satisfying to be able to use a
“Z” thicker, because those always seem to get left behind forever on letter
sheets, am I right??
Thanks for stopping by and taking a look at my layout today
:) Hope you have a great start to your week!! xx
