I made another card for the Simon Says Stamp stripes challenge.
I have so many branding strips that I keep on my desk, as well as small scraps from layouts that I've been trying to find ways to put them to good use. This stripes challenge is a perfect way to do it!
For this card, all I did was take a few scraps and lay them randomly on the background vertically. I tried to stick to one color scheme, using the multi-colored strip in the middle as a general guide. This way, my card wouldn't be too overwhelmed with colors. For the sentiment, I used three speech bubbles from a pack of Pebbles chipboard and heat embossed a different image/sentiment on each. To finish, I just added some plain wood veneer stars (which I am loving!).
Thanks for stopping by, and stay tuned for a layout using THE most beautiful piece of patterned paper I have ever held in my hands.... ;)
