Hello there! I am enjoying my few days of vacation before I start working :) Although I was really hoping for a new shipment of crafting goodies to arrive today, that didn't happen... but that doesn't mean I wasn't busy making stuff! I made these two card for the Simon Says Stamp challenge for this week, which is stripes..
I had a lot of fun putting together this piece - a perfect use for branding strips from patterned paper or just plain old scraps! Definitely made for a fun accent, and I will be trying it again!
For this one, just a few strips of paper were enough to make a simple yet pretty and fun card. I got the idea from this one by Kristina Werner. I like how it came out, but I REALLY need to get myself that magic powder embossing bag - the little specks that stick to my card around the sentiment really bug me! :(
